What you get
The Silver Stone keeps its list practical rather than decorative: air conditioning, free wifi, free car parking, non smoking rooms and a smoke detector. Each unit has a bathroom with towels and a hairdryer, a WC, a washing machine, an iron and board, and a kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, oven and refrigerator. There is a desk, a TV, a coffee setup and a fireplace, plus a terrace, bars and family rooms. The list is thin on services: no pool, no gym, no restaurant beyond the bars, and nothing about breakfast.
What that adds up to is a self contained stay at The Silver Stone. You cook, you wash clothes and you park without paying. The fireplace and terrace matter if you are in for the evening, and the desk matters if you are working. The trade is that this is Greater Atlanta, not central Atlanta, and the nearest of the neighbourhoods on this site is College Park. Suits early flights, work trips and longer stays. Does not suit anyone who wants to walk out into the city.

Where it puts you
These hotels are not in College Park. They sit outside the twenty four neighbourhoods this site covers, in the wider metro, and College Park is only the nearest of them. Treat the label as a direction rather than an address: you are in the greater Atlanta area, and the places the loop is known for are somewhere you travel to rather than walk out into.
What you get for that is the airport line, the Red and Gold, and a bed that is off the loop rather than on it. The site's own summary puts it plainly: the cheapest bed in metro Atlanta and sixteen minutes by train to Five Points. Right for an early flight, wrong for a holiday. If your trip is built around the Beltline and the neighbourhoods, book nearer the middle and pay for it.
