What you get
Decatur Delight Mixed Use Apartments is a four star apartment property at 1529 Oakview Road, and the list is built around living rather than sleeping. Each apartment is listed with a kitchen, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and coffee, plus a washing machine, laundry service and cleaning. You get air conditioning, heating is not listed, free wifi and internet access, a desk, a TV, a hairdryer and towels. There are family rooms, lifts, wheelchair accessible access, a smoke detector and a smoking area. Outside there is a garden, terrace, patio and balcony, and free car parking. The thin parts: no restaurant or breakfast is listed, no gym, and the spa and banquet entries sit on the list without any detail behind them.
For the right traveller, Decatur Delight Mixed Use Apartments works as a base rather than a hotel. You cook, you wash clothes, you park the car for nothing, and you use the apartment as a place to come back to. That suits anyone staying several days, families needing separate space, and people who would rather not eat out three times a day. It does not suit anyone wanting a serviced room, a daily turn down, or a lobby to sit in. Decatur Delight Mixed Use Apartments is also a poor fit if you are in Atlanta for one night near the airport, since the address is in Decatur, 2.6 km from the centre of Decatur, connected by the Decatur, Blue/Green rail line and sitting off the loop. If you want an apartment with a kitchen and free parking, this is the shape of it.

Where it puts you
Decatur is its own small city six miles out, with a square, a rail station and the best restaurants-per-capita in Georgia. That rail station is on the Blue and Green lines, so you can reach the rest of the system without driving and without a transfer at a downtown hub. The square, the station and the surrounding streets are the walkable part, and they hold most of what you would come here for.
This is off the loop, so the BeltLine trail is not on your doorstep; the trail label reads off the loop. Suits anyone who wants a self-contained town with a rail link and a real restaurant scene. Does not suit anyone who wants to step out onto the BeltLine or be in central Atlanta.
Booking it
Book Decatur Delight Mixed Use Apartments direct if you want an apartment with a kitchen rather than a hotel room, and check the dates against your trip length before you commit. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io. Every confirmed booking removes one tonne of CO2, at no extra cost to you. Five percent of what you pay comes back as IMPT credit, out of the hotel commission rather than added to your bill.
