What you get
The Creek House is a four star property at 163 Smyrna Powder Springs Road Southeast in Marietta, part of Greater Atlanta. The listed facilities lean hard toward longer stays: a kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and toaster, plus a washing machine, laundry service, iron and board. You also get free wifi, air conditioning, a fan, a TV, a desk, a safe, and a bath or shower with towels and toiletries. Several room types exist, including family rooms, and some have a balcony, patio or terrace looking over a garden, picnic area and river. Where the list is thin is on the practical side of getting here: there is no rail, the label reads bus + bike, and the only trail note is a short one.
For someone staying a week or more around Marietta, The Creek House covers the basics without fuss. The kitchen and laundry mean you are not dependent on restaurants or a front desk for every meal and every clean shirt, and parking means a car is viable. The garden, terrace and river setting give you somewhere to sit at the end of a day. What it does not offer is a city location. The property is 17.0 km from West Midtown, which is the nearest of the 24 neighbourhoods this site covers, and the transport note points to bus and bike rather than train. That makes The Creek House right for a longer stay, a family group, or anyone with business in Marietta and a car. It is wrong for a short break built around downtown Atlanta, and wrong for anyone who wants to walk out of the door into bars and restaurants.

Where it puts you
These hotels are not in West Midtown. They are not in any of the 24 neighbourhoods this site covers. They sit out in the wider metro, and West Midtown is only the nearest of the neighbourhoods, which is a different thing from close. Treat the city as a trip you make rather than a place you step out into, and plan on travelling for what the loop is known for.
West Midtown itself is warehouses turned into design shops and the densest good eating in the city. No train, and you feel it at rush hour. Bus and bike are the rail options here, not rail, and the trail sits 0.5 mi to trail. If you want the eating and the shops on foot, this is the wrong base. If you want a bed in the metro and a reason to drive in, it works.

Booking it
Book The Creek House directly if the location near Marietta suits your trip better than an address inside the city. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io. Every confirmed booking removes one tonne of CO2, at no extra cost to you. Five percent of what you pay comes back as IMPT credit, out of the hotel commission rather than added to your bill.
