What you get
Serenity House is listed as a three star two bedroom apartment in Westview. The facilities list is long on the things that make a flat work: a kitchen with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and toaster, a washing machine, an iron and board, a hairdryer, towels and toiletries. There is air conditioning, a fan, a TV, free wifi and internet access, and the whole place is non smoking. Outside there is a garden and a patio. Parking is free and pets are allowed. The list is thin on services: no reception, no breakfast, no gym, no lift, no restaurant. What you get is a flat with its own front door and a car space.
For the right visitor Serenity House works well. Drivers get free parking and a base for Westview and the wider city, and the kitchen and washing machine make a longer stay cheaper than eating out and paying for laundry. Dog owners can bring the pet, which most Atlanta hotels will not allow. The trade off is that a two bedroom apartment with no front desk is not a hotel. There is no one to carry bags, no daily service described and no dining room. If you want a served stay, a lobby and a concierge, Serenity House is the wrong choice. If you want space, a kitchen and your own parking, it is the right one.

Where it puts you
Westview is on the west side of Atlanta, and the rail connection lists as West End, 15 min, which is what puts the rest of the city within reach without a car. The BeltLine trail is at the door, so you can step out and walk or ride from the property itself. The neighbourhood is residential to the point of sleepy: bungalows, a couple of very good restaurants and the Westside Trail.
This suits you if you want quiet, a trail on the doorstep and a straightforward run to the West End rail stop. It does not suit you if you want to be in the middle of bars, shops and foot traffic, because Westview is not that. The BeltLine mile marker here is 11.4, so you are on the trail but well away from the busiest stretches.
Booking it
Book this one if you want the whole flat, the parking space and the pet policy rather than a room and a front desk. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io.
