What you get
The Quality Inn Atlanta Airport Central lists the practical things a transit stay needs. There is a 24 hour front desk, a shuttle service, parking and free wifi, plus air conditioning, lifts, luggage storage and a safe. Rooms are non smoking and there are family rooms. You also get a TV, a radio, a desk and coffee, and the hotel has a fitness center, a bar, laundry service and an ATM. Pets are allowed. The list is thin on anything beyond the functional: no kitchen or cooking setup is named, and the facilities are the standard airport hotel set rather than a reason to stay longer.
What that adds up to is a straightforward bed near the airport, and the Quality Inn Atlanta Airport Central is honest about being that. The 2 star rating and the guest score of 3 out of 5 from 636 reviews point to a place that does the basics without pretending to be more. It suits you if you have a flight to catch, a short stop in College Park or a quick business trip and you want a shuttle, a desk and a shower. It does not suit a leisure stay, a long break or anyone wanting a pool, a restaurant scene or a base for seeing Atlanta properly.

Where it puts you
These hotels sit in College Park, on the airport side of town, and the rail connection is the reason to be here. Airport, Red/Gold is the line you want: it puts you on the same system that runs through the centre, so you can reach Five Points without a car, and the site's own verdict on the area is blunt enough to quote: the cheapest bed in metro Atlanta and sixteen minutes by train to Five Points. Right for an early flight, wrong for a holiday.
The BeltLine side is different. College Park is off the loop, which means the trail is not on your doorstep and this is not a neighbourhood you pick for walking the city. What is walkable here is ordinary: you stay close to the station, you eat nearby, you sleep. Book it if you have a plane to catch or you want the lowest bed cost in the metro. Do not book it if you came to Atlanta for the BeltLine.
Booking it
Book this one if you want the airport run handled and a room that does the job. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io. Every confirmed booking removes one tonne of CO2, at no extra cost to you. Five percent of what you pay comes back as IMPT credit, out of the hotel commission rather than added to your bill.
Facts on this page come from the booking supplier's record: star class, address, photographs and facility list. Guest scores come from verified stays. We have not stayed here; the neighbourhood copy is our own.
