They sit somewhere out in the wider metro, well beyond the loop, and Decatur is simply the closest of those neighbourhoods, which is why it labels the page. Take that as a warning about geography rather than a description of the place you are booking.
What you get for the trade is a quieter base and, usually, a cheaper bed. What you give up is everything the loop is known for. The site's own line on Decatur calls it its own small city six miles out, with a square, a rail station and the best restaurants-per-capita in Georgia, and Decatur is the nearest thing to you.
