You are booking outside the twenty four neighbourhoods this site covers. West Midtown is the nearest of them, not the address on your key card. These hotels sit in the wider metro, so treat the city as something you travel into rather than step out into.
What you are travelling toward, as this site describes it: warehouses turned into design shops and the densest good eating in the city. No train, and you feel it at rush hour. There is a trail half a mile out and no rail line at all, bus and bike only. If the loop's restaurants and shops are the point of the trip, work out how you will reach them from here before you commit.
