That matters when you plan: the loop's restaurants, bars and trails are a trip away, not a stroll, so think about how you will get around before you book.
Westview itself is bungalows, a couple of very good restaurants and the Westside Trail. Residential to the point of sleepy. The site puts one rail label near it, West End, 15 min, and marks the trail at the door. If you want to be inside the neighbourhoods this site covers, look elsewhere. If you want a base outside them, with the city reachable by rail, this end of the metro works.
