The facilities list is strongest on the practical side of a longer stay: a kitchen and kitchenette, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, coffee, iron and board, laundry service, dry cleaning service and housekeeping. You also get a fitness centre, business centre, restaurant and bar, breakfast and buffet, a market, a lounge and a terrace. Rooms come with air conditioning, a desk, a sofa bed, a safe, a TV, a telephone, a hairdryer and toiletries. There are family rooms, non smoking rooms, lifts, wheelchair access, parking and a 24 hour front desk. Where the list is thin is on detail: it tells you a bathroom and a WC exist, not what they are like, and it says nothing about the size or outlook of any room.
What that adds up to for Element Atlanta Perimeter Center is a base built around routine rather than a holiday. You can cook instead of eating out, work at a desk in your room, use the business centre, keep up at the fitness centre and put laundry through without leaving the building. Dunwoody is a business district, so the evenings are quiet and the streets are not the reason you came. The hotel suits you if you are in Atlanta for work, for a longer stay, or for a family trip where a kitchen and a sofa bed matter more than a lobby bar. It does not suit you if you want to walk out to restaurants, bars and sights, or if you want to be in the middle of the city.

Where it puts you
These hotels are not in Piedmont Park. They sit outside all 24 neighbourhoods this site covers, and Piedmont Park is only the nearest of them. That distinction matters: when you book here, you are in the wider metro, not on the park's edge. The loop's famous stretch, at Beltline mile 18.3, is something you travel to rather than step out into. Expect to move for the grass, the skyline, the crowds.
Midtown is 12 min on the rail label and the trail is at the door, but treat those as the site's own shorthand, not a substitute for the park itself. What the site says of the neighbourhood: The most expensive mile on the loop. You are paying for two hundred acres of grass and the skyline behind it. On the northeast side of town, in Greater Atlanta, these hotels suit a metro base and do not suit a Piedmont Park holiday.
