What you get
Bon Royale is a four star property on Bonaventure Avenue Northeast in Poncey-Highland, 0.8 km from the centre of Poncey-Highland. The listed facilities run to a full kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and toaster, plus a washing machine, iron and board, hairdryer and toiletries. There is air conditioning, a fireplace and a fan. The list is strong on cooking, laundry and warmth.
What the list gives you is a house built for a group that settles in: a pool, a garden, a patio, a games room and a fitness center, with free wifi, free car parking and a TV and CD player indoors. Pets are allowed and rooms are non smoking. Bon Royale suits families, pet owners and anyone self-catering for several days. It does not suit a single traveller wanting a bare room and a quick exit, or anyone relying on rail, which is absent.

Where it puts you
You are in Poncey-Highland, on the east side of town, and the neighbourhood sits between the Clermont and Ponce City Market. The site's own line is that this is the most useful hundred yards in Atlanta if you plan to walk everywhere, and that is the honest summary: a stay here is built around leaving the car parked.
There is no rail, so getting around means the trail and the bus. The trail is at the door, which puts the BeltLine path within reach the moment you step outside, and the bus covers the rest. That combination suits anyone who wants to walk and ride and does not mind missing a train station. It suits a trip spent on foot between the two anchors either side of you, and it does not suit anyone who wants a rail connection or a quiet residential base away from the traffic.
Booking it
You book Bon Royale direct through the site, which is the only way to hold one of its twelve photos on file as a room you have seen. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io. Every confirmed booking removes one tonne of CO2, at no extra cost to you. Five percent of what you pay comes back as IMPT credit, out of the hotel commission rather than added to your bill.
Facts on this page come from the booking supplier's record: star class, address, photographs and facility list. Guest scores come from verified stays. We have not stayed here; the neighbourhood copy is our own.
