What you get
Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Mableton Atlanta lists the things a two star property is expected to have and a few that are not always there. Every room has air conditioning, a private bathroom with bath or shower, towels, toiletries, a sink and a WC. You get a microwave, a refrigerator, a TV, a telephone and an iron and board, plus non smoking rooms if you ask. The front desk is staffed around the clock, there is wifi and internet access, and car parking is free. There is a jacuzzi on the list and a wake up service. What is thin is everything else: no kitchen, no living space, no business centre beyond copy service, no airport transfer, no breakfast room named. The jacuzzi is the one item that stands out from an otherwise plain inventory.
For someone staying at Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Mableton Atlanta, that list adds up to a room you use for sleeping and not much else. You park outside, you carry your own food back to the microwave, you keep your own schedule because the desk never closes. The property sits in Mableton, 13.5 km from Bankhead, which is the nearest of the 24 neighbourhoods this site covers, and the rail label reads Bankhead, Green. The trail label reads 0.7 mi to trail. This suits a driver who needs a bed and a fridge on the west side of the metro area, and it does not suit anyone hoping to walk to Atlanta's restaurants, bars or attractions, or anyone who wants a pool, a gym or a lobby to sit in.

Where it puts you
These hotels are not in Bankhead. They sit outside the twenty four neighbourhoods this site covers, in the wider metro, and Bankhead is only the nearest of them. Treat it as a marker on the map, not as your address. What that means in practice is travel: the loop's famous stretches, its restaurants and its crowds, are not on your doorstep, and you should plan your days around getting to them rather than assuming they are close.
Bankhead itself sits on the northwest side, on the Green line at Bankhead, with 0.7 mi to trail and a Beltline mile of 13.2. The site's own note on the area is blunt: the lowest median on the loop and a Green line station, thin on places to eat, so plan to travel for dinner. Book here if you want the wider metro as your base and don't mind the distance from the loop. It is wrong if you came for the Beltline on foot.

Booking it
Booking this property is straightforward if you know you want a car based stop on the west side and nothing more. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io. Every confirmed booking removes one tonne of CO2, at no extra cost to you. Five percent of what you pay comes back as IMPT credit, out of the hotel commission rather than added to your bill.
Facts on this page come from the booking supplier's record: star class, address, photographs and facility list. Guest scores come from verified stays. We have not stayed here; the neighbourhood copy is our own.
